Vintage and Vineyards
Delle Venezie, Northern Italy’s renowned grape growing region, is the source for this remarkable Pinot Grigio. The dry and mild winter that bridged 2006 and 2007 encouraged a bud burst about two weeks early. Spring provided moderate rains, followed by a rise in temperatures mid-June through July. Despite the varied growing conditions, our skilled winemaker sourced the finest grapes of Delle Venezie to deliver a Pinot Grigio of the highest quality.

Wine and Winemaking
A cool summer in 2007 allowed growers to pick this Pinot Grigio later than usual, allowing the wine to retain its fresh fruity acidity while achieving optimum levels of ripeness.

The bouquet displays the typical citrus, mineral and flint characters associated with the Venice region and the Pinot Grigio variety. On the palate, a combination of fruit richness with citrus elegance gives a well balanced wine of structure and length of flavor. Drink early for freshness.

Celebrations and Food Pairings
The history and tradition of Italy are captured in every bottle.  Dellatorri’s crisp and fruity Pinot Grigio is best served chilled with fresh grilled seafood and lime-based sauces.
